This very Inspirational picture book describes how the Paralympics came about through Lucas who injured his spine and is now in a wheelchair and goes to watch the Paralympics. Lucas is inspired to become part of the Paralympics and decides to start training for it.

It talks about how blind, those without legs, wheelchair bound compete in the Paralympics. It is based on the author Igor Plohl who has a spinal cord injury but that doesn't stop him from teaching primary school and lecture about spinal cord injury.
